Knowledge of the One we worship. Revisiting the Quranic verses we recite during prayer. Understanding the philosophy behind prayer and knowing the intricacies of the acts of faith are but some of the topics that will be touched during this introductory class.

Divine connections will soon launch their new program in association with Emerald; The Art of Praying. Before we kick this off we would like to invite you to participate in this FREE: Urban Muslim prayer course where we will introduce you to the topic, the upcoming classes and the goals we will achieve – God willing – through these modules.

·         SOME DON’T ALWAYS PRAY ON TIME, SKIPS PRAYER, OR DO NOT PRAY AT ALL

·         STRESS, CAREER, SOCIAL MEDIA AND A LACK OF FOCUS OR KNOWLEDGE ARE USUALLY FACTORS

How do we tackle this and how can we lift our prayer to higher levels in the midst of our busy lives and social-media-activities? To some just the word prayer might sound quite boring, but believe me, establishing a genuine connection with your Creator is the most beautiful and unique achievements in life.

·         OUR GOD, ALLAH, IS OUR KING. HE IS THE MASTER AND THE RULER OF THE UNIVERSE AND HE WANTS US TO SUBMIT TO HIM IN PRAYER. NOT BECAUSE HE IS IN NEED OF IT, BUT RATHER BECAUSE WE ARE IN NEED OF HIS DIVINE MERCY.

We will give you a glimpse of what the four courses of the Art of Praying are all about. I will share with you the titles already, so you don’t have to sit on your hunger:

(1) Meet the One

In this course you will be introduced to Gods’ beautiful names and how knowing them lifts your prayer to a new level. After this module you won’t have to drag yourself to prayer again, your love and awe for him will do this for you. You will stay focused during prayer and understand why it is important to pray, and what is in it for you!

(2) Prayer Management ®

I have developed a ‘tracking-device’ and methodology that will be very useful in helping you managing your prayers. Allowing you to take this with you and transform your prayer into a true connection with the Master of the Universe.

(3) Scent of prayer ®

This course will take your soul into the depths of awareness and perception, it will take you by the hand to the shallows of your deep emotions and teach you how to reflect and what to experience while saying what you say, and doing what you do. It will lift your prayer from technical movements towards actions with a meaning and from uttering words to a deep understanding and true emotions.

(4) Empowered by prayers

Prayers are empowering when done correctly. We will study several valuable supplications from the Holy Qur’an and explain the power and rules of the Istikhara-prayer and supplications. We will tell you why prayers are not always answered, how to cope with unanswered prayers. We will look at the reasons and obstacle for a supplication to be answered or to remain unanswered.
