EMERALD has been promoting arts, businesses and charities since its inception, and has listened to feedback from members for more activity-based social events and promotion of new skills development and leisure-based themes. We are delighted to inform you of PhotoSocials and Masterclasses- a chance to meet and greet fellow photo enthusiasts, from beginners through to those more advanced, open to all.

Course is on the 4th floor - QUOTE "EMERALD" - someone will be there to greet you from 9.30am - 10.00am, course starts 10am prompt inshallah. Please find your own way post 10am.

 

A Truly wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day's masterclass with practical learning, so bring your camera! Places are strictly limited to 25, first come/served, to be fair to all. An outline of the course will be presented at the start of the morning.

Following consultation with Peter regarding prerequisites for the course, please note the following:

 

No pre-course work

Q&A in the morning will take place to cover photographic technical terminology

A basic understanding is required and bring an SLR (if possible)

Need enthusiasm and a smile too :)

 

PLEASE BRING ALONG YOUR CAMERA (any) AND LAPTOP (if you have one, as scope to learn a few editing tips, don't worry if you do not have one)

Perfect to develop a more creative eye for composing pictures, especially with holiday and wedding seasons looming, take better photos - we have PhotoSocials which are FREE meet ups in small numbers on a monthly basis at key locations in various cities, alongside the less frequent but highly sought after Masterclasses which are classroom and field-based full day courses (unless specified otherwise).
